Terai bandh called off

KATHAMANDU: Tharu Kalyankarini Sabha (TKS) has withdrawn the general strike from Monday evening.

TKS said it has withdrawn the strike keeping in mind the difficulty faced by the people in Terai due to the strike. Transportation along the east-west highway has now resumed, reports said.

Life in some 24 districts of Terai was adversely affected due to the strike called by TKS from February 7-9.
