Michael Jackson To Attempt Comeback At London’s 02 Arena

Michael Jackson is set to play a residency at London’s 02 Arena later this year. According to Sky News, the initial summer dates at the residency will be announced this Thursday (March 5). Jackson himself may appear at a press conference at the venue to make the announcement.

News of the residency confirms speculation that began late last year, when the Guardian reported that a Jackson comeback at the 02 Arena was imminent. Jackson's last live performance in Britain was at the 2006 World Music Awards, where he sang a few lines from "We Are the World" before leaving the stage.
